We repair damaged photographs.
Send us the one the free tools could not fix — the tear across a face, the water stain, the corner that came away. We mend the damage and we change nothing else.
What fills a gap in a damaged photograph is our best guess, not what was there.
One photograph, no card, nothing to install.
What we cannot know
Some of what comes back was never in your photograph.
A repair puts back what the damage covered. Where a photograph has lost something outright — a face torn away, a section gone to mold — there is nothing underneath to put back. The gap gets filled anyway. We cannot hold the repair off it, and it fills convincingly: a corner of wall, a sleeve, a row of people, a face.
What fills a gap in a damaged photograph is our best guess, not what was there.
So treat anything standing in a destroyed area as ours rather than yours. The undamaged parts of the photograph come back untouched, and that is most of most photographs, but the line between the two is not drawn on the file and we cannot tell you in advance where it will fall. That is what the free repair is for, and it is what the refund is for.

How it works
1
Scan it, or photograph it
The print stays with you. A phone photograph in daylight is enough; a flatbed scan is better. JPEG, PNG, WebP or TIFF.
2
Send it and say what is wrong
One tap — torn, water, faded, mold, creased, scratched. Skip it and we repair whatever is damaged and change nothing else.
3
Get it back
A few minutes later, beside the one you sent. Download it, or all of them together. Delete everything whenever you want.

Eight kinds of damage, each with real before and afters of that damage and an honest account of what is repaired and what is only guessed at.

One free, then a pack.
The job most people have is a box, not a photograph, so the packs are priced by the box. If you only ever wanted the one, it is $9.99 on its own once you have seen it repaired.

Questions people ask
- What can you actually repair?
- Tears and splits, water staining, fading and color shift, mold and foxing, creases, surface scratches and silvering. The damage most shoebox photographs have, in other words. Severe damage is the case we are built for — a photograph a free tool handled fine did not need us.
- Can you rebuild a face that is missing?
- It comes back as a face, and it is not the face that was there. We cannot keep the repair away from a destroyed area, so where a face has been torn off, somebody plausible arrives in its place. Look at it closely before you keep it, and if that is not what you wanted, you get your money back.
- Do I have to send you the photograph itself?
- No. You send a scan or a photograph of the print. The object never leaves your house.
- How long does it take?
- A few minutes for one photograph, about half an hour for fifty. We write to you when they are done, and the link in that message brings you back to them.
- How long do you keep my photographs?
- Thirty days for a paid order, seven for a free repair, and then we delete the originals and the repairs together. There is a button on your own page that does it immediately.
- What does it cost?
- One photograph free, with no card. After that it is a pack: ten, twenty or fifty photographs, paid once. If a repair does not look like the person you remember, you do not pay.
